Dear DignityUSA Members,
For the past nine months, I have reached out to you via your inbox and through Facebook with news and information. I am glad to have met many of you in person in Chicago, and to connect with others through email or by phone.
Unfortunately, my time with you has come to an end and I will be leaving my role with Dignity within the next week. I regret that I was unable to stay longer and know you better, but I am grateful for all I have learned and experienced in my short time with you.
You can still use the email@example.com email for any questions, concerns and comments you may have.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to breathe change, in ways both quiet and loud, throughout the world which will bring all LGBTQI Catholics and allies to their rightful place at God's table.
And remember: in a society that profits from your self-doubt, liking yourself is a rebellious act.
Now go do something amazing,
Executive Director's Note: We are very sorry to see Susan move on, are deeply grateful and positively changed by all she has done for DignityUSA, and wish her all good things. At this point, we will not be immediately rehiring for this role. We are reviewing the organization's staffing needs in light of the Visioning done at the conference and the Strategic Plan being developed by the Board. We will make hiring annoucenments following the October board meeting.
